I became a companion because whilst working with older people, along with hearing my families and friends experiences of their relatives in care, I noticed something was missing. The ability to give people one to one time to talk.

My aim is to provide a safe space for older people to speak about their life experiences, explore new hobbies and increase their sense of worth.
